THE GARFIELD HEIGHTS TRIBUNE

By Garfield Heights Mayor Vic Collova
In June we dedicated our city’s new Welcome Wall in front of the Turney Road Fire Station at McCracken Road. This is something special for our community. It marks the center of town and shows community pride. The wall represents the partnership between our city and its business community. The total cost of this project was paid for with donations from our
supporters, including Marymount Hospital, The Family Pet Clinic, Kokosing Materials Inc., Mr. Redi-Mix, NRP Contractors, LLC, Baumann Enterprises, Inc., Kurtz Brothers and CST Products, LLC.
Garfield Heights Service Department employees Tony Lovano, Jeff Swallow, Paul Birk, Scott Stohlman and Mickey McGuire constructed the wall. Landscaping for the project was provided by Garfield Heights “Green Up” Project volunteers.
